Nisha Paswan

Coming from Hide Road area, Nisha belonging from a middle-class family, she faced a difficult period after her Higher Secondary education when financial issues forced her to stop her studies, leaving her feeling directionless at home. Her life took a transformative turn when she joined the ITC Mission Sunehra Kal and Reach India Trust program, where she completed a 45-day Warehouse Logistic Associate course. This training provided her with essential computer skills and the professional foundation she needed to break into the workforce. She started with a month-long contractual role at Bazar Kolkata in Behala as floor associate during Durga Puja, earning 6,500, which paved the way for her current permanent position at Multi Brand Hub at Khiderpore. Now earning 9,500 in hand with Annual CTC Rs 1,51,900 approx. along with PF and ESI benefits, she has achieved true financial independence and the pride of supporting her parents and her brother’s family. Beyond the paycheck, the greatest change has been her self-belief; she has evolved from someone who feared speaking to others into a confident professional ready to face the world.
